Studios at MassMoCA Artist Residency
Marley Massey is a multidisciplinary environmental artist based in Philadelphia, PA. Through the use of painting, drawing, papermaking, ceramics and recycled materials, her practice captures an archive of fleeting elemental activity, celestial cycles, and transient conditions in landscape. She received a BFA from Salisbury University in 2019 and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2022. In 2021, she was an artist in residence at MassMoCA and her work has been exhibited in various regional group shows. Marley currently teaches ceramics at Black Hound Clay Studio South and The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA and Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.
